Update. Cylinder and head cleaned but the piston looks bad. So I ordered a 38 mm Airsal kit, which I know from my Peugeots to be reliable.
The kit is arrived and needs to be finished a bit by dremel. Perhaps I'm going to put another head on the unit if it fits. That's also from Peugeot.

...head doesn't fit. After mounting Cylinder and head, I could hear air pressing out behind of the magnetic wheel. The gasket seems to be bad.

Seal ring also looks very bad, just replace it otherwise you will not get it to run properly. Also check the other side.

drain oil, remove cover and clutch and you can replace the seal.

punch 2 holes in the seal with a sharp nail or prim and screw in small screws, then you can pull with pliers

Thanks fons, I have to order these seals now. I realized that the leaking came from the seal at the bottom of the airsal cylinder. The seal in their package doesn't fit with my block. I have cut now a new seal...

Hi Fons, thx for the link. Describing exactly my problem.
The bad seal on the ignition side is out. But on the other side the M10 screw of the crankshaft cannot be removed. I fixed the piston with the stopper but the screw doesn't move at all.

Is there a washer which has 1 side flipped up to one side of the nut to prevent it to loosen? Otherwise you just have to use more force (turning left). It could be set very firm.

If you don't want to use a piston blocker, you can block turning the cranckshaft using a tool on the flywheel or an airgun.

Hi shadowranger, finally the nut gave up after plenty of heat with the heat gun.
Could remove the three wheels and replace the sealing. I also saw the famous vraagteken veer. Looks good.

Be careful when you mount the middle axis with the gears that the "Omega" spring is placed correctly in the space of the carter. Otherwise your gears will be engaged or locked when engine is off and you try to walk. Also the kickstarter pedal will be moving when engine is running.

Update - the tank is clean, the motor is installed and has a nice, strong spark.
Only the exhaust pipe has to be installed to be ready for test run. I am very interested how it will start.

I miss the tank vent under the seat, when refueling an air bubble accumulates there so that less fuel can enter the tank.

Without the exhaust it should also start, only makes a lot of noise which is not nice for the neighbors.

the valve for the tank is on the other side of the moped. And you are right, the exhaust has to be installed, I like my neighbors 8)

I have not seen that here yet, the valve is here at the front under the saddle.
Hence the comment because I didn't see it.

Update
I fixed the exhaust somehow. The original screws from airsal are trash. Also found that valve for the tank.
Some problems with the fuelvalve. Difficult to reassemble. But got it finished. Filled fresh gasoline. One kick...... Running :wink: nice engine.
But the seal between cylinder and exhaust doesn't fit. Too much noise. To be continued...

Try to fit the exhaust first firmly and tight on the port of the cylinder, then the support on the frame. Aftermarket exhausts don't fit 100%. Some need to be reshaped to fit, you can see how when downpipe is first mounted correctly.
