they do have some cool aftermarket parts and other engines not availeble here snorro, If you read the 1st page you can find some things about that, and the price thats a thing I want to know to ;)

Yeah I read it but those are completely other engines instead of just a component of the enige, and I don't think my frame would appreciate a 80/90cc :P

ive went 120 with a bt 80, when runnig away from police :D :D
no, a bt 80 engine is just a 4-speed manual gear. more than 50 ccm tomos here in slovenia was never an automatic. but it's easy to get a complete used engine here relative cheap :)

a new automatic a middle price version costs 200.000 sit (around 900 €)

there are tons of aftermarket parts (mostly used), but u can get new ones too, for a relative low price. it's hard to get a new 70 ccm cilinder, you can get a cilinder "enlarged" if u now what i mean, and put in a bigger piston (i have an '87 automatic with a 40 cilinder)

and putting a 80/90 engine on an automatic is not that rare here :D
it's not recomended though because of the gears and the "stick that connects piston with the engine" (i dont now the english word...) it is likely to break and destroy the entire engine. but the moped goes like hell :twisted:

Ik heb met een maar van me al een e90 blok onder een tomos automatic (A3 nieuw model 2 speed ding orgineel) gemikt was gaaf om te doen en liep ook wel leuk, was alleen doodeng omdat dat ding zwabbert als een gek op snelheden boven de 90 en de remmen dan nietmeerwillen, daarbij kwam oook noggis dat met een beetje teveel gas en telaat de koppelign los laten de brommer zo achterover lag... wat ook 2 keer gebeurt is ...

if anybody is planing to place a E90 or 80 engine on a frame of tomos automatic it wont fix directly, cause it has not the same holes on the blocks..............and another problem is that has to much power an it will twist the frame.............


........E90 engine has 5 gears and the 80 ccm too......................and the prices for the engine that is ready for use and in good working shape and it has the reqired documents for registration is around 200 eur............but is very rare to get it............

I already fitted it under , and the power wasnt such a big probleme with some strong extra steel welded on the frame and a Honda MT rear swing arm

hehe yes.........the bigest problem is the rear swing arm...........i twisted it twice.................then i fixed the engine on atx frame ................

have you done some things to the engine ? or is it completly stock, because tuning the cilnder and a custom exhaust does wonders to those 90cc engines =)

ammmm......that vas 3 years ago...........i dont ride mopeds any more..........but i had dellorto 26 , mf power exaust , meteor piston with L ring, lowered head , polished and encrased canals...........with 15/27 sprockets i had a top speed around 140 km/h and very good acelerations...............but i have a friend who has instaled 6 gears and a piston of diameter 52mm(stock is 48 ), sport exhaust ,ecc............and he has a top speed around 165..........and very powerful acceleration..........almost like yamaha yz 80.............but he has a lot of problems with the crankshaft and the clutch............cause is too powerfull..............but is very funy when a tomos pass by a ultra tuned scooter...........or even a bad 125 ccm motorbike........hehehe........

hehe i live 500 m from the tomos factory 8) ...............my cylinder was tuned in the factory reaserch department................but now they have bad days...............here in Slovenija nobady wants to ride tomos mopeds any more...............the only thing that holds them up is export...................if you buy today ,in our country, a tomos the next day you will sell it for the 30% of its worth...........

the worth of a tomos here second hand is dropping about 20 to 30 % to in one day but there's still market fore , coot that you have a tomos tuned reseasrch cilinder do you think ist a honed 50 of a complete ecustom (probeply aluminium) cilinder ?

and do you have any pictures or a portmap of the cilinderports ? I want to know I smart they are at that research center :roll:

the blocks of e90 arent the same of 50...........there is a diferent crankshaft and diferent space betwen that bolts that are holding the cylinder........bore X stroke is 48x48...............the stock cylinder is made of aluminium and is totaly diferent than the 50 cylinder...............and to enlarge the ccm you have to dril a biger hole and put in a liner made of "giza"...................hmmmm...........i dont have that engine any more..................
