das anybody have or had a problem with a crankshaft if mounted a 70 ccm kit, sport exhaust and bigger carb ???........and if you had a problem how did you fix it???

wel I have plans for making my tomos LC, liquid cooled, then I am going to make a puch dirveshaft in the crankshaft.

but even with my polini I didn't have any problems at all, untill I blew up the cilinder.

but when you blow up a cilinder, or get it jammed, you mostly break the piston making metal pieces fall in to your whole crackcase making the bigend and other parts of the crackshaft jam or break ....

@ sitt, I dont thing you have to fit a new drive- or cranckshaft but I'f you know for shure that an other driveshaft fits, for instance a RV4 shaft from aprillia AF and Tuareg , why not try reather have it while its not really needed, than that you jam your stock crank risking to jam your 70ccm kit =)

but if your not gonna fitt the 70ccm kit, feel free to send it to my bij mail I'll pay the mailing costs

heh...........yes it must be done very precise................and if it is done right there is no way that the cylinder( A5 ) owerheats............the drilling, portening( both in a workshop) and a new piston comes around 30 eur.....................and the head can be lowered at home...............very cheep for very good performances.................

hmm.......interesting...............cause here in sovenija we al experience the crankshaft failure........................maybe theres a trick of the exported models............that you have stronger crankshafts???.....................

iand maybe there is an other crank fitted in the export models but It also might be the diffirence in the cilinders we use

yes maybee the cylinders............

but doesnt the honda nsr have a diferent bore x stroke.......i think 39x41............or I m wrong??.............i think that the best cylinder for LC is the aprilia af1 cylinder.......cause has very similar bore x stroke........... 38.5 x 42 i think..........and it has a direct intake on the cylinder....................

wel i am planning for a 80cc, lc cil.
I am looking for al sorts of cilinder with menbrane@cilinder.

70cc GE2 met vlinderpoort nemen en dan 0.7 onder en 0.3 boven ophogen heb je mooie deckhight en dan de cil tunen, en dat is te passen op een tomos blok, alleen ff electro ontsteking halen of een reich elektrisce waterpomp regele =)

i think that i undarstad what you wrote.............but there are two diferent engines on aprilia af1............i was talking about minareli rv4 engine(the water doesnt goes trough the block).......not the am 6........sure it takes a lot of work to fit it on tomos block...........the best with a distantion plate made of aluminium .........and the cylinder must be lowered................and ofcourse a electric water pump...........and water cooler...................I saw the foto of nsr 50 cylinder..........maybe is not a bad idea.......sure it would be easier to fit it on the tomos blocks than the aprilia af1 cylinder.............and the stroke maybe wouldnt be such a big problem..........cause its only 2 mm of diference.........thats mean only 1 mm of diference in max. upper location...........

and a aprilia af1 does NOT have a AM6 (suckz0r) engine, thats a aprilia RS50

see the engine, it has a water pump on the clutch side, so its not conected to the (ducati) egnition

trouwens de cilinder die hier op zat was een Gila2 Max tuned met fluitpoorten en auxpoorten, zat een 12 kleps membram in en de zuiger is superlicht :p komt direct uit de italiaanse race wereld netals de brommer die ook geraced heeft maar toen een nieuw blok en de naam race replica heeft gekregen (door de andere kuit en lichten) en liep 90 kmpu met 50cc :0 zit nu 80 cc polini op loopt iets van 130
