Dear Topic Starter, you will not succeed to speed up your moped without spending some money on the job. Like the previous poster already mentioned, most people start up with replacing their exhaust. However, even a simple job like that mostly requires upjetting the carburetor, because otherwise you would have most probably a lean mixture. And i recall, this
could be a possibility, i'm not saying it is though.
By changing your exhaust, it should result in more power. However, you still need to convert that power into speed. Mostly with another rear sprocket as the previous users already told.
And then, if you're lucky, you will reach 60km/h or beyond. Also, depending on what engine you have, but i presume you have a standard A35 engine, there is a wide availability on second-handed exhausts for less then 10 cents. Some are even for free! Check your local online marketplace
