i think i have a 25 tooth front sprocket and a 22 rear sprocket. Is this alright? My jet already is a 73 (anything less feels like crap).

Can you suggest a better sprocket ratio? I want top end and acceleration.
Should i change timing? How do I do that? advance it or back it off?

guys guys guys

to get back on the NOS for a sec.
that is not a NOS kit, NOS is a production trademark justlike the NX from the friend of mine.

what you have is a CO2 dry shot system, the first thing you'll do with that is prolly scrape the side of you cilinder which wil eventually makes you bigend endng up on the street and your piston in your nose...

ok, so i emailed the guy i purchased the co2 system, and asked for a partial return of my money. I will stay away from it.

Can you guys help me with the rest of this bike? Such as:

sprockets, timings, etc.

Can anyone tell me why when i changed the carb to the larger, I noticed no increase in performance? What did i do wrong? i built myself a larger intake manifold, cause i thought that the stock one was limiting me, but it made no difference. I really want to spruce up this bike, and you guys know what you are doing.

also, when adjusting the clutch springs, I have to empty the tranny fluid... but then do i have to fill it up again in between testing? Every time? or can i test the clutch spring adjustments with the cover off and no fluid (just for testing)....
How much have you guys shortened it? 1-5 cm? more less?

What are you guys using as sprockets ? how many teeth for front and back? jet sizes? carb sizes? Intake manifolds?

the advertisment says it is N2O, so not CO2. In theory it shoud work, but it ruins your engine. better tune your clutch thats where the power is lost.

And shortenings the clutch springs, depens on what you like. The first one is for pulling power, more revs when turning the gas. The second one is for shifting moment. Begin with 1 cm / 0.5 inch. Then test. Go on untill you are satisfied
Here you go.

ok, can someone explain this to me. How does shortening the springs help? If i shorten the springs, wont it take more rpm (ie more time) for the spring to stretch out? Wouldnt you want to lengthen it??? i dont understand the mechanics of how shortening the spring would boost performance.

petrol engines don't have al lot of power at low revs

so if you adjust the springs in the clutch then the engine runs at higher revs at the moment you drive away

: short/strong springs in the clutch > higher revs > more pulling power

i hope you understand what i am trying to say
there is no substitute for cubic inches

I took my moped apart again, cause it was sort of slaggy... turns out my motor head has a bit of a leak... gonna have to sand it down.

Im also going to shorten the clutch springs... here is a pick of the crankcase open:

The first clutch pad looks a little worn out indeed. But it'll be ok
With a 22 rear sprocket, your moped shifts at more revs.
So your clutch wears out faster.

( I don't know if the word ''wears out'' is right )
